Convert to PDF Faster from Microsoft Word
If you try to convert a large document from Microsoft Word or Excel into PDF it may take a while. To speed up the conversion process:
- Open Word or Excel and click on Adobe PDF on the menu bar
- Click Change Conversion Settings
- On the Conversion Settings dropdown menu change it from Standard to Smallest File Size
- Close the Conversion Settings menu and convert to PDF using the Acrobat icon on your Office toolbar.
- This method will convert to PDF a lot faster, but please note that the quality is somewhat reduced.
