		<description>I have heard of this issue before, but haven't found a solution. I'd recommend calling Adobe directly at 1-800-642-3623.

		<description>I'm experiencing the same problem as bog Nick while running Windows XP; if I right-click on any file, Adobe Acrobat 8.0 installer starts, apparently "installing" the program (despite the fact that I already installed it as part of the CS3 Design Premium). I've  tried re-installing Acrobat with no success. I've tried removing the entire CS3 Design Premium and re-installing, with no success. This bug has cost me hours and hours of trouble-shooting, not to mention it's created a severe retardation of my operating system since I'm forced to deal with the installer any time I right-click a file.</description>

		<description>I have seen something similar with older versions of IE 7. My best recommendation would be to update IE, close everything, and then try Acrobat again.

If you are on Vista, you might also try right clicking on the trial and selecting Run as Administrator. That gets around various permissions issues with Vista.

		<description>Hello, I have a little problem with installing Acrobat 8 trial. I went through the installation with no problems. But when i open Acrobat the window with a License Agreement should appear. It does. But it redirects to the default IE page for the page that can’t be open. 		<description>Unfortunately, that's the way the trial is set up. One option would be to have all your PDF files open with Adobe Reader unless you explicitly tell it to open with Acrobat. This way, you would not get the "Buy Now" message every time you open a file. To do this on Windows XP:

1. Open My Computer
2. Go to Tools &#62; Folder Options &#62; File Types
3. When the list appears, scroll down to PDF
4. Highlight PDF and click change and choose Adobe Reader.
5. Now all your PDF files will open with Reader. To open a file with Acrobat (when you want to edit it) right click on the PDF and go to open with Acrobat 8.

		<description>It would be nice if every single time I click on a pdf doc the free 30 day trial I just installed would not CONTINOUSLY show a pop up box asking me to continue the trail or exit.  The box halts all the work until I click "continue trial".  When I exit, it closes all the docs.  So, while I am trying to get used to the program and do my work, I have to deal with a box that constantly is popping up.  Why can't you wait at least a few days before doing this, or maybe once a day??  It's REALLY annoying to a point where it makes me not want to purchase the software on principle.</description>
