Introduction to the Ink Manager
Acrobat’s Ink Manager is used for print production. This feature lets you change how inks are printed. For example, if you have a PDF file containing an unnecessary spot color, you can convert the spot color to a similar process color. As you may know, spot colors are usually more expensive than process colors. In this case, we would be using the Ink Manager to reduce printing costs.
