Missing Typewriter Tool in Acrobat 7
If you have recently reinstalled Acrobat 7, you may notice that the Typewriter tool is gone. Don’t worry, this problem is easy to fix. All you have to do is install the 7.0.5 update from Adobe. Simply save the update to your computer and then click to install it:
You’ll either need the ‘Adobe Acrobat 7.0.5 Standard Update for Retail Version’ if you have Acrobat Standard or the ‘Adobe Acrobat 7.0.5 Professional Update’ if you have Professional. Make sure to download the English version and not the ‘Multiple Language’ version, which won’t work.
