Browser Reviews allow users to collaborate and add comments to PDF files similarly to an Email Reviews. The main difference is that the PDF file being reviewed and all the comments are stored on a shared server. People invited to the review process view and comment on the shared PDF while in an Internet browser. Both Email and Browser Reviews have their benefits. For more information on Browser Reviews:

If you work with PDF files and collaborate with others through email you may want to consider Acrobat’s Email Review feature. This feature allows you to use Acrobat’s commenting tools and oversee email collaboration as it’s going on. To start a review:
- Open a PDF and go to Comments > Attach for Email Review
- Type in your email address (and other personal info if you want)
- Click Next and then type in email addresses for the people in the review. After each email address, press enter or return.
- Click Next, preview the review email, and then click Send Invitation.
- From here, you may have to set up some Internet preferences.
- When the other reviewers receive your PDF they will be able to add comments and email them back to you.
- Note that users with Reader can also take part in the review, but they will need version 7 or 8.

We talk mostly about Acrobat 8, but here is a quick tip for Acrobat 7. Did you know that you can create a blank PDF file in Acrobat 7? To do this:
- Open Acrobat 7
- Hold down the Shift key and go to File > Create PDF > From Blank Page
- That will open a blank document that you can type on with the Typewriter tool or the Touchup Text tool.
- Wait, but what about Acrobat 8? In version 8 making a blank page is even easier. Just do the same process without holding down the shift key.

If you’re having a printing problem with Acrobat and you don’t have a lot of time to troubleshoot then try the Print as Image command. Here’s how:
- Open a PDF file and go to File > Print
- Click Advanced and check the box for Print as Image
- Click OK twice and your document should print. This usually works. If not you may have to do additional troubleshooting.
- The Print as Image command does print out a little slower than normal, but it should solve the issue.

You may know that Acrobat can convert web pages into PDF. This feature is nice, but the look of the final product is often spoiled by unnecessary headers and footers. Let’s fix that:
- Open Acrobat and go to File > Create PDF from Web Page
- Type in the address in the URL section
- Click Settings and uncheck the Place Headers and Footers option
- Click OK and then click Create and view your new PDF.
- Note that PDF files made this way will not always look identical to the original web page.
