Saving PDF Files in Other Formats

You can save PDF files in many different formats including JPG images and RTF files (Rich Text Format). To convert your PDF to another file type:

  1. Open a PDF file and go to File > Save As
  2. Give the file a new name
  3. For the Save As Type choose whatever format you’d like. We chose TIFF, which is a high quality image format.
  4. If you click on the Settings button, you can view different file conversion options. For now, we’ll just use the defaults.
  5. If you click Save, Acrobat will convert your PDF into TIFF or whatever format you’ve selected.
  6. As an alternative to this method, you can also go to File > Export > and choose and export format.
